By downloading or using TipLog, you agree to these terms. Please read them.
1. What TipLog does
TipLog is a tip tracking app for iPhone. It records your tips, shifts, categories, earnings summaries, and related notes. TipLog is a personal logging tool — it does not replace official wage statements, payroll records, or tax advice. You remain solely responsible for reporting your income to the appropriate authorities.
2. No account required
Your session data, statistics, settings, and preferences are stored locally on your device. No account creation is required to use TipLog.
3. Subscription
TipLog offers a premium subscription that unlocks advanced features including extended statistics, exports, and additional tracking options. Subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. Apple manages all billing, renewals, and related matters.
4. Managing your subscription
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
5. Restore purchases
If you reinstall TipLog or switch devices, use the Restore Purchases option with the same Apple ID to recover your subscription status.
6. Accuracy of logged data
TipLog records the values you enter manually. We do not guarantee that summaries, totals, or statistics will be error-free. Do not use TipLog data for tax filing, wage disputes, or other financial decisions without independent verification.
7. No liability for financial outcomes
Tip income reporting and tax obligations involve legal responsibility. TipLog is a logging tool only. We are not liable for missed reports, incorrect totals, tax penalties, employment consequences, or any other outcome arising from your use of the app.
8. Your data
You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter into the app. Do not store sensitive information beyond what is needed for tip tracking.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with TipLog; disrupt its operation; use it for unlawful purposes; or attempt to extract source code.
10. Changes to the app
We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time. We will do our best to communicate significant changes in advance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
12. Apple-specific terms
These Terms apply between you and TipLog only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for TipLog or its content. In the event of any failure of TipLog to conform to applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for TipLog to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to TipLog. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to TipLog or your possession or use of TipLog.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of TipLog after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.
